Our accompanist

Floyd Corson is the accompanist for the Bach and Friends Festival Chorus rehearsals. Under the direction of Jesse Wakeman and Floyds superb accompaniment, the chorus is making great progress in preparation for both concerts.

Floyd will also be performing the  Duetto in F Major, Op. 18, No. 6 , by C. P. E. Bach (1714-1788), an organ duet with Ray Cornils during the Saturday evening concert. Last year, he received an award for being a Treasure of the Valley. He certainly is a treasure to us!
The chorus is hard at work preparing the choral works, and the featured instrumental soloists are busy, too.

We are looking forward to hearing Dana Oakes and Betty Rines, both members of the Portland Symphony Orchestra, perform the Concerto in D Major by
Francesco Manfredini (1684-1762) at the Sunday, August 25 concert!
